--Found Everywhere, under the eternal blue sky-- is an ongoing collaborative effort between Brian Omen and Ramses3000 -- Labelmates Ramses3000 and Brian Omen join forces in Found Everywhere: a new musical performance in which their sonic worlds merge. Together, they present a live show that explores and stretches the boundaries of electronica, ambient, new age, and cosmic music. The set moves through distorted guitars, hypnotic organs, dreamy electronics, and psychedelic synthesizer lines. The result is spacious, otherworldly, and at times overwhelming--
--Their first joint performance took place during November Music in Den Bosch, where the duo played new material previously recorded at the Willem Twee and RE:VIVE studios in the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. In April, they retreated to Hastière, in the southern Ardennes, where, isolated from external stimuli, they developed new work together with guitarist Robin Oomens (he/him). The outcome of that residency can be heard on Friday, May 23, at Intro In Situ, the go-to venue for experimental music in Maastricht.
Found Everywhere will continue in June with a residency at the legendary Willem Twee Studios in Den Bosch, where the duo will collaborate with musicians on new material. One of these guests is Nuno Silva (he/him), a Portuguese saxophonist and prominent figure in the contemporary European music scene. Stef Joosten (he/him), a virtuoso on bass guitar known for his improvisational exploration of introspection, hope, and melancholy, will also take part. The new work will be presented on Wednesday, June 11, at De Toonzaal in Den Bosch and on Saturday, June 14, at the Casbah stage during the Best Kept Secret Festival in Hilvarenbeek. These shows and the residency are made possible with support from Music Hub Brabant--
--Last year, Ramses3000 made waves with his solo album Thalamus on Intercept Records. The album received high praise from outlets including NRC, Trouw, and Radio 1, and led to a series of interdisciplinary performances at venues such as Museum De Pont, Het Noordbrabants Museum, and a sold-out Concertgebouw show during the Amsterdam Dance Event. The other half of the duo, Brian Omen, garnered attention with their releases Shores of Awareness, How To Access The Primordial Light, and Post-Ambient, released through Intercept Records and The Something Something. Their performance at the forward-thinking dance festival Draaimolen, where they incorporated self-designed scents, was praised by 3voor12--
